No Land for the Lost Routine, Photography Series
‘No Land for the Lost Routine’, explores well-being within work environments. The artworks seeks to investigate the future of labor in postmodern societies, where automation is increasingly prevalent. Through a conceptual narrative that blends photography, filmmaking and performance, the project highlights the absurdities of contemporary employment, portraying challenges of monotony, absurdism, and purposelessness. It deals with the implications of automation and questions how machines replacing workers can lead to a re-evaluation of work-life balance, potential job losses, or even a liberation from work responsibilities. The narrative follows a group of explorers on a quest to uncover the legend of the last workers. As they uncover the mysteries of this world, they engage in profound ideological debates about the value of work versus the liberation from it.
